HauckSchuchardt Advises Gekko Group on Renting Space in the Building Complex 160 Park View in Frankfurt's Westend
HauckSchuchardt represented Gekko Group on all legal issues concerning the renting of space in the building complex 160 Park View in Frankfurt's Westend. The complex consists of two high-rise buildings.
Gekko Group, a company group in Micky Rosen and Alex Urseanu's successful restaurant and hotel business, has concluded a long-term lease agreement with RFR and Hines for its new Roomers Hotel - in one of Frankfurt's best locations.
The group will run Roomers Park View in the 19-storey high-rise hotel. The hotel will have 136 rooms and suites on 13,000 m² gross ground space. The opening is planned to take place at the end of 2020.
Hines and RFR plan to create a 96 metre high residential block in the adjacent section of the 160 Park View building. The overall project will be preceded by a comprehensive revamping of the twin towers on Grüneburgweg, which were erected in 1975 as the Westend Center.
For the two restaurateurs, Rosen and Urseanu, this will be the second Roomers hotel in Frankfurt, after the hotel on the Gutleutstrasse. They also operate Roomers hotels in Munich and Baden-Baden.
The two parties have agreed not to disclose the rental price.
The tenant was given legal advice for the lease transaction by the following HauckSchuchardt lawyers:
Partners: Hans-Christian Hauck (overall responsibility) and Jörg Dombrowski (tenancy law).
The Hogan Lovells law offices headed by Marc Werner and Kathrin Aigner provided advisory services to RFR as the landlord.
