HauckSchuchardt is Advising the FREO Group in the Purchase of a 60,000 m² Plot of Land

– Current news

In the purchase of a 60,000 m² development site for commercial building in the technology centre of Unterschleißheim, HauckSchuchardt has advised the FREO Group (FREO) on all tax-related matters.

FREO, an independent pan-European investment manager and developer in the property sector, has acquired the plot of land at Landshuter Straße 28 from Office Plaza Unterschleißheim GbR. The notarised agreement for the project planned here “KORYFÉUM” was signed at the end of December 2017. Start of construction is already planned for IV quarter 2018.

The goal of the project development is to create high quality commercial utilisation for offices and a hotel with a gross floor area of approx. 80,000 square metres. It is planned that the first areas will be handed over in the first half of 2020.

With this acquisition, FREO is following other globally operating companies such as BMW and Linde which have also settled at the technology centre of Unterschleißheim. The site is distinguished by its close proximity to Munich’s centre as well as Munich airport.

Both parties have agreed confidentiality concerning the purchase price.

In the transaction, the buyer was advised by Dominik Berker (tax law) and Daniel Cehovin (tax law) – both are accountants and partners at HauckSchuchardt.
