HauckSchuchardt Advises in the Acquisition of the Handelsblatt-Haus in Frankfurt

In the acquisition of the Handelsblatt-Haus in Frankfurt, HauckSchuchardt has represented a company of property investors Orna und Arthur Wiener in all legal matters. The company of the property investors Wiener acquired the building at Eschersheimer Landstraße 50-54 from Catalyst Capital. The property extends across 5,400 m². The main tenant is the Handelsblatt Media Group as well as the architectural firm meyerschmitzmorkramer which rented ca. 1,750 m² in March. The total investment volume including refurbishment is 30 million euros. In association with a US family office, Catalyst acquired the building for ca. 16 million euros from Aachener Grundvermögen in 2014.

Both parties have agreed confidentiality concerning the purchase price.
